Heyy kids,
How are ya?
I’m great!!!!
So yes I’ve been posting things that have got some of you worried. I’m okay I promise!! Just going through the ‘Growing Pains’. Sooo today I’m going to be talking about relationships again. It’s one of those things that are just important because we’re impacted greatly by the people around us. I’ve learned a lot about forming good relationships in the last couple of years. I’ve learned things like being honest about how you feel. I’ve learned things about being intentional in the way we form friendships or allow them to go on. I’ve learnt things about signs that it’s time to let a relationship go. As y’all know, my faith is important to me in making these decisions but I think it’s only fair that I share some of the wisdom😉.
So where do I start? I was watching this show today, when my wattpad was simply not recommending books I wanted to read you know! So I ended up watching ID extra with my mama ( yes the creepy show that shows how people killed people and how they were caught) If you look at it superficially, you might think it’s iust creepy but to be honest, I think it gives very impactful life lessons about the common mistakes we human beings make in everyday life that make us susceptible to being taken advantage of. It also ( and this will sound deep and scary) gives you a healthy suspicion of the world and it’s people. And that’s that.
So today, the part of the show that I watched was basically talking about a controlling husband. And I had a conversation with someone later that day and unconsciously but consciously,😂, I could find myself drawing parallels between their behavior. Now because I already know my thought patterns quite well, 😉I asked myself whether it was just the show getting in my system but then I remembered other times I’d thought this. And of course, before doing anything too drastic, I told myself to just calm down and mull it over. So the first lesson, kids pay attention to your instincts. Take care of yourselves if not for yourself, because of the knowledge that your very existence impacts people you know and care about, as well as people you don’t even know by extension. That’s a big responsibility but I think it’s worth it to bear that in mind. People are always watching👀 and you don’t know who you’re giving hope.
The second lesson,  I’ve always considered myself a mature individual 😌but as I grow, I find all these flaws in my character and it’s always kinda sad kinda exciting when I do. Let me tell you why!!! So besides the fact that I was definitely one of the girls fangirling John Legend when he was singing ‘All of Me’ about his wife, ‘Chrissy Teigen’. I believe very strongly in that line ‘perfect imperfections’. We’re flawed creatures, us human beings. But as a good friend reminds me, the fact that there’s so much evil or bad things in the world doesn’t mean that it’s okay not to have hope. So despite the fact that we know these flaws are hard to get rid of and that we ‘may’ never be perfect, we try our best to constantly build a better version of ourselves. So in relation to relationships, I’d say pay attention to the flaws and great things as well of the people around you. Don’t be prey to the saying that ‘love is blind’. I say it all the time, my love is certainly not 😌💁🏽‍♀️. Have a healthy awareness of the good things and the shortcomings as well. And then ask yourself ‘Can I live with these flaws?’ I’d be lying if I said I didn’t ask myself that before calling anyone, my friend. And that’s all I’ll say here on that😊
Finally, have a very clear understanding of how you want to be treated. My very first post on here was about love so I think we’ve established that you should love people because if there was more of that to share in the world, so many tragedies and deaths and oppression wouldn’t be as heightened as they are now. So please know your self worth and even if you yourself don’t know it, make sure everyone else does( fake it till you make it 😁😁😂). You’re just as important as the most important human being you can think of, by virtue of the fact that you’re human. Believe it and know it and say it to yourself if you have to 🤞🏽🤞🏽because it’s true. It will help you in knowing what you ‘should’ tolerate. Notice my choice of words. Should and not wills I don’t care what you will tolerate. Ask yourself what you ‘should’ tolerate as this important person that you are😁😁😁😁🤞🏽.

Now let me just end with this😂😂( anyone that has had this conversation with me, leave me to share my philosophy) everywhere you go, remember that you are a ‘hot commodity’ or ‘hot stuff’😁😁😁😂. Take what you want. You’re very very important so no matter how many times you get rejected or waitlisted by people 💁🏽‍♀️by cliques 👩‍👩‍👧‍👧👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👨‍👧‍👦, by colleges, and so on and so forth, remind yourself that you’re awesome and in high demand so the onus is on you to market yourself appropriately.
Till the next time,

Watch out world, I'm grown now!

I stand defined
Not by the four walls of a building
Surrounded, like the rose in the garden.
I am seen as a product that is displayed on a shelf
People know me for what I am
What I can give
What I can do
They know the people that gave me my name,
My colonizers
But what they don’t know
Or care to know
Is the life I had before all these
That’s strange.
I mean, you could write more than ten thousand pages of my history
Without exhausting the stories, along with the culture
And yet that part of me is left in the shadow of another’s culture
The culture of those that defined me as ‘Fantastically corrupt’.
What a shame!
I am to be the Giant of this great continent, Africa
The leader that guides the way for the sheep
But that title is what it is.
A mere title!
Bestowed on an undeserving nation.
We may have deserved it,
Once upon a time
But nothing was done to sustain it.
Right now there is a fight in this nation
A fight of inefficiency v. corruption
Or as I call it Politicians Destroying Progress
Against the Alliance of Political Cheats
At least that is what people see
Because of the ignorance and fear of their minds to see,
Or to provide better, reasonable options.
Let’s escape from the prison that is our minds
That keeps us locked in the terror of the has been
And the negative, to be
Let us focus on the development
Moral order
Justice
Growth
Let us think of new ways with actions that can make this the order
So that when we are insulted
Our heads would be held high with pride
Not because we have the mouth to speak
But because we have backed up our word with actions seen.

Hey guys,

On the last post relating to this issue, I established the foundation for the "Africa is not a country" campaign. Thanks for reading it, hope you enjoyed it and got inspired to learn more about the beautiful continent of Africa. If you haven't read it, please do so and check out the other posts. Today we are going to be looking at the culture of a small but mighty country in East Africa named Rwanda. I use the expression small but mighty because although it is one of the smallest countries in Africa, it has shown tremendous strength in the way it built itself after facing great adversity.

Rwanda like any other African country has its ethnic groups. The major ethnic groups are Hutu, Tutsi, and Twa. The official language of Rwanda is Kinyarwanda which is spoken by all the ethnic groups, other language spoken in Rwanda are English, French, Swahili. Today the ethnic groups live peacefully among each other, but it wasn't always like this. Rwanda is known for the genocide which occurred in 1994; this was the killing of the Tutsi by the Hutu. The genocide depopulated the nation from the loss of 1 million Rwandans including Hutus, Tutsis, and Twas and it destroyed the nation's economy.

Rwanda is a very fertile land and is known for their agricultural produces especially coffee and tea, this has helped the nation experience outstanding economic growth after the genocide. A large number of Rwandans are subsistence farmers or cattle rearers, so farm life is a vital part of Rwandan culture. It has a variety of wildlife habiting in the Akagera National Park and several volcanoes in the Volcano National Park which are major attractions for tourist; this has also been a factor in the economic boom. There is an uneven distribution of wealth in the nation like any other nation struggling with corruption. However, the Rwandan government provides free housing for beggars, so they don't end up on the streets.

Well, we can't talk about culture without bringing up music and dance which is an essential part of their ceremonies and festivals. The traditional dance routine includes the Intore, a celebratory dance performed by men, the Umushagiriro, a ballet dance performed by women, and drumming performed by men on drums called Ngoma.

Facts about Rwanda

  • In the 15th century, Rwanda was a kingdom under the Bunyoro-Kitara Empire. Germany and Belgium colonized Rwanda.
  • Kigali, the capital Rwanda is the cleanest city in Africa because of the Umuganda, a community cleaning day where the citizens come together to clean the city, and the ban on plastic bags by the government.
  • Rwanda is known as the land of a thousand hills because a majority of the land contains hills.
  • After the genocide Rwandans have come to identify no longer has Hutu, Tutsi or Twas but has just Rwandans.
  • To commemorate the victims of the genocide, April 7 was made a memorial day it is a public holiday. There is also a museum called the Kigali Genocide Memorial center where over 250,000 victims lie.
  • Famous Rwandan cuisine include Umutsima (a porridge-like paste made from cassava or maize and water), Isombe (mashed cassava leaves with dried fish), Brochettes (barbecued meat on a skewer)
  • The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund works in Rwanda where they protect the endangered mountain gorillas. It attracts tourists to Rwanda and helps improve the quality of living in local communities through health, education, and livelihood efforts.

Researching about Rwanda for this article was fun, I learned a ton of new information which is the purpose of this campaign. I hope I was able to enlighten someone on Rwanda and its culture. Please share this post to spread awareness about the campaign and if any Rwandans are reading this, comment below other aspects of your culture not included. Thanks for reading.

If you want to stop worrying, then you need to stop thinking so much. Thinking is a good thing of course, but when you focus a lot of time over analysing things, it can cause a lot of stress. Sometimes worrying can be beneficial  because it’s your mind’s way of acknowledging the importance of the situation. However, many times we worry excessively for invalid reasons.      I would tell you a couple of different ways to help you to worry a little bit less.
When we worry, what we are actually doing is projecting our mind out into the future. We picture negative scenarios and images. We think about the worse possible situations. Students may spend a lot of time worrying about how they did on the test they just took. The person who is running late and is stuck in traffic,is worried about what people will think of him when he shows up to the meeting late.
In all of these situations, the person is worried about something that hasn’t happened yet. Not only that, they are worried about something that they have no control over at the present moment. If you want to know how to stop worrying, then you need to learn how to be in the moment. Realize that the majority of things people worry about coming true,(negative things) never come true. You can spend a great majority of your life worrying yourself to the point where you start to lower your happiness level. You may even start to draw back from life because you’re afraid of every possible negative situation that you have imagined in your head coming true.
So how do you just stop worrying about everything? Here’s a simple rule. If you can’t do anything to improve the situation at the moment, let it go. Stop worrying so much about things that you have no control over. The student who is worried about what score he got is just wasting his time because what’s done is done. Whether he spends his time worrying or having fun, it’s not going to change the outcome. A student who applies for a study permit and keeps thinking whether his documents are in place, whether or not the documents are in place he/she would still get a response from the embassy.
You can try writing down the things you are worried about and find out what percentage of those things actually come true. Once you realize that there was really no point in stressing over things you can do anything and once you stop worrying about everything, you will start to enjoy life a lot more.

Hey guys,

Hope you're all great?  Thank you guys for 20k views, we are so grateful for the love and support.

So summer is coming to an end which I'm sure we're all dreading. This ending leads to the beginning of a new season (weather) and a different environment (school). A lot of people have breakouts or other issues because of a change in their environment. So as the new season approaches ensure to:

1. Moisturize one's body day and night, to protect the skin.

2. Stay hydrated; this is important for the skin and the body.

3. Use a gentle cleanser to remove excess oil and dirt.

4. Stay positive, the beginning of the school year can be very hectic and will give you so many reasons to be frustrated but try to shake it off and keep on smiling. Stress isn't good for the body, soul, or mind.

Thank you for your time,

Laziness is a state of inaction. It’s something that you do, not something that you are. Being lazy means you have no motivation to do anything. This is pretty obvious but the mistake that many people make is identifying themselves as someone who is lazy. In this article, I’m going to share with you something that will help you see this state of inaction in a different way. Hopefully, after you read this article, you will believe  that anything that is not a part of who you are is just a habit.
Lazy people are often seen as useless. They are the ones who don’t do anything. They can be seen as underachievers. This can be a child or an adult. You can view a student who never studies as lazy. You can see an employee who doesn’t do his work has being lazy. In all of these cases, what the lazy person is doing is being lazy. But are they really lazy or are they acting lazy?
So what causes a person to be inactive? The answer is a lack of goals and purpose. If you give someone a good enough reason to do something, they will do it. People who don’t seem to do anything just haven’t found a good enough reason to do anything. Lazy students don’t study because they don’t see the point in studying. If you give them a reason, a strong enough reason that is, they will take action.
For example, if you are too lazy to go to the gym, would you go if someone offered you a million dollars to go? If you are too lazy to clean out the garage, would someone pointing a gun to your head help you take action? The reason can be positive or negative as long as it’s strong enough to induce action.
The bottom line of knowing how to overcome laziness comes down to finding enough reasons to take action. Action will lead to success while inaction will lead to failure. Before you take action though, you need a compelling reason to do so. To motivate someone who is lazy, what you need to do is help them find purpose and enough reasons to work towards a certain goal.

Thank you for your time

Do you speak African? Are you from Africa? What is the capital of Africa?
If you live in any other continent apart from Africa, you've probably said it, heard it, or have been asked. If you're like me, listening to these bizarre questions makes you shake your head and wonder how people can be so ignorant. To answer the questions no, no, no. Africa is not a language, a nation, or a country. Although we are all Africans regardless of whatever country we originated from, it is not acceptable for us to permit others to group Africans into one ethnicity and disregard our diverse culture.

My former high school in Nigeria has a program called Africa is not a country, it was a platform for spreading awareness about the culture in different African countries. I have been very passionate about the issue ever since then because of this I have decided to use this blog as a means of spreading awareness. The information isn't limited to individuals who aren't Africans many Africans also lack knowledge of the diversity of their continent.

You may be wondering why is this issue important, it is because the belittlement of Africa has caused a restriction on Africans. Hopefully, when the rest of the world becomes informed about our continent, we would no longer be treated as minorities despite being the second largest continent in both population and size. They would be able to see past the offensive stereotypes placed on Africans and realize how much we have achieved and how much more we can do to greatly influence the world.

Good morning guys,
How are y’all doing today, it’s yet another beautiful day so I will grace you with my heartfelt words.

Let me tell you a brief story first...
My mom was making a lovely pot of minced meat stew and she suddenly needed to head out. On her way out she tells me,
‘Ginika the stews boiling in the kitchen, it’s almost done so please turn it off in about 5 minutes,’
Now I’m thinking alright I’ll turn it off in about five minutes just as she asked me to. In my attempt to not forget I remain downstairs so that I am as close to the cooking stew as I can possibly be.

Let’s skip to like fifteen minutes later, mind you, the stew is still cooking and then my younger sister asks me, ‘Ginika, have you turned off the cooker!’
I ran into the kitchen but it was too late, the stew had burned. It was still edible but it was burnt all the same.

I’ll leave you all to imagine what I was up to while the stew was burning instead of me paying close attention to it.

The moral of this lovely tale? Hmm, pay attention to whatever it is you’re doing. ‘Anything worth doing is worth doing well’ that’s something my dad says all the time. You can imagine how my mom would’ve reacted when she got home and saw the pot of stew (it was not a pleasant reaction I can assure you).
Take your time to do everything properly because it produces good results. Remember the popular saying, ‘Slow and steady wins the race’ and the final result will definitely put a smile on your face.

Take care,
Ginika

Hey there, today we are looking at a few common things that most don't know whether they are myths or facts. Get ready to be amazed...

“Sugar makes kids hyper” is so NOT true. Congratulations kids you can have all the candy you want now. According to several studies, whether a sugar-filled or sugar-free diet, the level of hyperactive behavior is more or less the same.

To those drinking alcohol to warm themselves up, it’s not the case at all. Sorry to disappoint. Alcoholic drinks create he deceitful sensation of warmth by dilating blood vessels and stimulating nerve endings in the skin. But on the contrary, it can actually make your body temperature fall.

Spicy food does not cause ulcer, I repeat spicy food does not cause ulcer. Yes it aggravates it but it isn’t responsible for ulcer in the first place.

For those of us who love to crack our knuckles and have been told several times not to, rest easy and crack on; no arthritis for us guys! In reality the sound of the crack is caused by a gas bubble not breaking bones.

To our athletic guys, sex does not affect performance. Good news I suppose. The release of testosterone is rather a plus to your performance in reality.

If you think vegans/vegetarians don’t get any protein think again. Their unique diet provides them with an ADEQUATE amount of protein needed for the body to function. With that said leave them be please. Do you and back off.

Nicotine, my friends is colourless. The stains in the lungs during smoking are caused by tar NOT nicotine.

This argument is one I’ve had personally and it feels good to win. Shaving does NOT cause hair to grow thicker, denser or faster. All that anxiety over shaving can finally be put to rest.

Peanuts are a type of nuts? Oh oh so false. Strange right, they are called pea-nuts. Unlike other nuts they belong singly to a plant family called Leguminosae.

Well I’m done. Have a lovely day guys. Stay blessed.

Hi guys,
It's no secret that regardless of your skin type everyone wants good skin. We spend a lot of time, money, and energy trying to get rid of acne, blackheads, wrinkles, and other skin problems. Here are some foods that are good for your skin.
Fish
Fish has to be the best source of protein for the body. The oil of the fish improves skin texture, prevents acne by reducing inflammation, and delays the aging of the skin. It is also great for promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss. It is very underrated.
Eggs
Eggs are great for your skin. They provide non-fat protein which helps strengthen the skin pores and removes excessive oils. They also help soften the hair, rebuild damaged hair, makes the hair moisten. Eggs can be used to make DIY facial masks.
Water
Although water is not a type of food, it is good for the skin. 60% of the human body is made up of water, because of this, staying hydrated is very important. Water gives the skin moisture, preventing it from looking dry and shriveled.
Citrus fruits
Oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits are all rich sources of vitamin C. Vitamin C gives the skin a radiant glow, keeps it blemish free, and evens out the skin tone.
Note:
To achieve good skin, one should try to incorporate this into their daily meals and skincare routine.
Everyone was made uniquely resulting in us having different skin, because of this whatever works for one person may not work for the other, so don't give up if it doesn't work.

The ability to stay positive is one of the most important skills that you can develop. Why is this? This is because we will spend most of our lives setting and trying to achieve goals. Everyone has dreams. Everyone wants to know their purpose on earth. The problem is that life is tough. The second you set a goal, obstacles will begin to appear to stand in your way. Most people let these challenges rob them of the life they really want. This is why most people will never be able to realize their dreams.
It’s sort of hard to think positively after reading that isn’t it? But what am I getting to? If you want to achieve greatness, if you want to experience the best life possible, then be prepared to fall and fail over and over again. Staying positive during situations like this is not easy.
So how do you remain positive regardless of what type of challenge you are facing? It all comes down to how you choose to respond to any situation as well as what you decide to focus on. No matter how bad your situation is, you can always find something good in it. So what you can do is start focusing on what is good. Even if you failed an exam, were denied admission, lost someone, or are going through a very bad break up you can still be positive. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy but just keep a positive mind.
Knowing how to be positive can help you overcome a lot of challenges that cause many others to fail. So what can you do? You can do things like reading positive books or listen to songs with positive lyrics.
Realize that challenges are a part of life. Everyone will have to go through them. It’s what makes reaching a goal worth it. If you were able to get everything you wanted without facing challenges or trying, the victory wouldn’t taste as sweet.

Hey guys, today we're looking at some outfits which are quite popular today. And I am guessing that you might have seen some of these outfits on somebody or somewhere.

     1.) FENDI

@Wizkidayo
@tiwasavage

It’s Fendi season, and the Nigerian celebrities are definitely here for it. From Nigerian singer Wizkid and Tiwa savage rocking an almost head to toe Fendi look. And I have to admit this trend is actually taking over. However, the Fendi Outfits do not come cheap, to be frank.
Drop your comments below on who rocked it better.

   2.)  ARMANI

This Italian fashion house in recent times has caught most of our attention with its most recent outfits. This brand has been around for a while but came into the limelight recently. This brand might look simple, but should be the next item you are adding to your wardrobe.

        3.) THRASHER

@badgalriri

@Chris_ayomide

Thrasher theAmerican Clothing Brand was formerly a skateboard magazine. Regardless of its funny background, it became very popular in America when Singer Rihanna rocked the brand's hoodie. As for me, it's the first item on my shopping list.

    4.) ODD FUTURE (OF)

@adeduntanokupe

Odd Future, another one of America's new clothing brands, originated from odd future wolf gang kill them all, a music group, which became shortened to odd future. This brand is one of the most trendy brands in town, so don't be disturbed when you see someone in a shirt that has a doughnut label on it.

It's been 2 years and 6months since I cut my hair, and so far, it has been growing long, full and healthy. I credit this growth to many of the products I use, especially the oils. Here's a list of the oils I use to grow my hair:

     1.  Jahaitian Black Castor Oil
CAD$6.99

This oil is a combination of Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Haitian Black Castor Oil. I used to use just Jamaican Black Castor Oil before I discovered this more effective blend. The healthy blend of both oils aids in cuticle repair and will help you grow strong and healthy hair.
Where to get it: JahaitianClore Beauty Supply, or your local beauty supply store

    2.  Coconut Oil
CAD$9.43

Ever since natural hair became a trend, everyone has been raving about coconut oil. This oil is highly beneficial and can be used in many ways. It can be used as a mask, used in hot oil treatment or just as a moisture sealant. For me, coconut oil reduces the brittleness of my strands. However, I have come to realize that this oil does not work for everyone. If you have never tried it then I suggest you do.
Where to get it: Amazon, or literally anywhere

     3. Kaleidoscope Miracle Drops

CAD$22.99

I'm just going to say that this oil actually does work miracles as the name implies. I heard about this product about 5 months ago and I was a bit skeptical because it was one of those upcoming Instagram brands. About two months later, I came across it in my local beauty supply store and decided to try it. Since then, I've seen a hell of a lot of growth. It also smells very nice. Although this oil has grown my hair the fastest, it is a little pricey for oil.
Where to get it: AmazonKaleidoscope hair products,Clore Beauty Supply, or your local beauty supply store

Oils are definitely essential in growing your hair, but I suggest using one or two oils at a time and also using them in moderation. All of these oils have worked for me; they may or may not work for you. Find what works and stick to it. Leave a comment down below if you decide to try them out or if they work for you.

Note: These oils also work for beards so you can stop using spirit.

Stay tuned for more tips.

In honor of France winning the 2018 World Cup, our first dish is going to be a famous French cuisine known as the chocolate souffle. The word souffle originates from the French word "souffler" meaning to puff. A souffle is an egg dish which can either be a savory or sweet dish. Some of the flavors include Lemon souffle, cheese souffle, sweet potato souffle, etc. The chocolate souffle to many is a fancy French dessert which is very difficult to make. However, contrary to popular belief it isn't; people only believe it is because of all the extra ingredients some recipes include. The beauty of the chocolate souffle is its simplicity.

Ingredients

2 large eggs
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons of granulated white sugar
1 tablespoon of butter
2 ounces of dark chocolate, cut into pieces
1 pinch cream of tartar
4 tablespoons of cold milk

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly butter up the banking pan and coat with sugar, tapping out the excess sugar.
  • Put a pan of hot water on low heat, don't let it boil or simmer. Put the chocolate pieces in a bowl and place it over the pan.
  • Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, pour the flour into the pan and for about 1-minute whisk until it is incorporated into the butter.
  • Reduce the heat to low, stir in the milk until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth. Remove the pan from the heat.
  • At this point, the chocolate should be melted. Pour the mixture into the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly. Add one egg yolk and mix. Ensure the bowl is still above the hot water to keep the chocolate melted and prevent it from getting hard.
  • Place 2 egg whites in a separate bowl, add the cream of tartar and whisk the mixture. Add the sugar into the mixture gradually and whisk. Continue whisking the mixture until it is as thick as shaving cream.
  • Transfer a bit of the egg whites into the chocolate. Mix until the egg whites mixture is fully incorporated into the chocolate. Add the rest of the egg whites mixture into the chocolate; gently combine the mixtures by folding the egg whites into the chocolate a little at a time. Stop mixing after the mixtures have been fully incorporated. Avoid over mixing the mixtures.
  • Pour in the mixture into the baking pans, ensure to wipe off excess batter from the edges of the pan to avoid uneven rising of the souffle.
  • Bake in preheated oven until souffle has risen above the top of the rims for 12 to 15 minutes.

Recipe notes

While cracking the egg, separate the egg whites from the yolk because of any yolk in the white will prevent them from thickening.
The texture of your souffle is very important; it can either make or break the dish. The texture of a chocolate souffle should be in between a regular cake and a molten lava cake; this means that it should be firm but moist.
This recipe can be topped with powdered sugar, cocoa powder or whipped cream with whatever fruit your heart desires.

Leave a comment below on your take on chocolate souffle or souffle in general.

“Your earrings are adorable…”, “Love what you did with your hair…”, “I like your eyes…” comments like these go way deeper than we can imagine. Many of us take no notice of these “little” or seemingly insignificant comments, not knowing that the little act of kindness can change a life forever.
You see people every day and no one knows what anyone is really going through; battling with depression, illness, loss of a dear relative or friend or maybe even a bad break up. Let’s not forget those that are bullied or made to feel unimportant on a regular basis.
One kind word from you could stir up light in someone, give them hope that their circumstance isn’t all there is to life. If this seems a little too much for you that is talking to strangers then start with a warm smile, wish them a lovely day and you’ll be surprised how much of a difference you made in someone’s life.

Let us start with this, there is no such thing! A friend is one attached to another by affection or esteem; a favoured companion. On this note, how then can we call anyone a bad friend?
Friendships are probably the greatest things that could ever happen to a person. Having that special friend or maybe a group of them, to share memories with, laugh with and pour out your thoughts to is reassuring and comforting as well; knowing that you’re not alone and that people have your back brings some amount of joy to a person’s life.
Do friends fight? Obviously, they fight! However, like all other relationships: siblings, husbands and wives, they make up and they learn from their mistakes. Sometimes the friendship has to end because of what happened but that is okay also. However, the friend was not bad; he or she just did something you did not like.
Society tries to define a bad friend for us; that person mummy always says you should not be your friends. Now, that person is not a bad friend. The person maybe a bad influence, but he or she is not a bad friend. Even the worst person on this planet is a friend to someone.
Be careful though, when choosing a friend because friends do rub off on each other and I am sure we all want to be affected positively. Do not forget, a person is your friend or not and the definition of a friend is not changing anytime soon.
